GCTC hosts

It should come as no surprise to see that, when it came to creating the perfect duo to host this year's Great Cricket Tea Challenge, we once again invited renowned cricket tea connoisseur Michael Vaughan. He did us proud last year, and there's no one with a better grasp on what grub will best tickle a batsman's fancy. (Some of you may also remember him for playing a spot of cricket here and there.)

This year we invited a new element into the team: superchef Rosemary Shrager. A master of the culinary arts, Rosemary has been sharing her expertise on TV for many years, appearing on programmes as diverse as 'Ladette to Lady' and 'Rosemary Shrager's School for Cooks'. On a less 'cheffy' note, she was also crazy enough to volunteer for a recent series of 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - but the less said about her food experiences there, the better.

Together we hoped we'd have a powerful combination: Michael's knowledge of cricketing appetites and his plain-speaking style would be perfectly complimented by Rosemary's intense focus on cooking prowess and her no-nonsense manner...

Or would it?
