From Rwanda With Love
Regular readers will know about our long-standing relationship with Rwanda and the work we’re doing out there to help farmers.
Their tea is vital to our Yorkshire Tea and Yorkshire Gold blends – in the words of our head of tea, Ian, adding Rwandan tea to our blend is like ‘turning the lights on in your cup’.
Well, soon you’ll be able to try Rwandan tea on its own and when it’s at its very best. Our new Season’s Pick range switches from Assam, which has been on offer since last October, to Rwandan from Monday. To find some, just head down to your nearest Waitrose or Booths.
The tea we’ve picked is truly exceptional stuff – lively, refreshing and with a brilliant colour to it. Our tea-buyers reckon it’s as good as Rwandan tea gets.
Let us know what you think!

I was disappointed not to be able to use my recently downloaded coupon for your Rwanda Tea, It’s not available in my local ‘Waitrose’ store…. I will continue to search for some to give it a try….But..how about a sample pack on request ???
Posted by Janet Amos at 5:01 pmHi Janet, sorry you’ve not been able to find it – our Customer Services team will be in touch soon to see if they can help!
Posted by Yorkshire Tea at 2:38 pmHi, I love your Rwandan tea. I even gave it as a birthday present to a close friend a few weeks ago. However, I wished I have brought myself a couple more boxes as when I went back to Morrison’s they had run out. I know it is seasonal but is there any chance there is anymore. If not when can we see it on our shelves again?
Posted by Lee-Jane at 6:58 amGlad you liked it so much! We do too. We’re now into the Kenyan season, with Assam following that in the Autumn, but Rwandan will be back on shelves in early 2011 if you can wait that long! If not, perhaps console yourself with a cup of Yorkshire Gold as Rwandan tea plays a big part in our luxury blend!
