No Guts, No Glory!
October 7, 2011

As some of you will have read here before, ‘guts’ is a professional tea-tasting term often used to describe strong, full-flavoured teas – teas like the top quality Assams we put in our luxury blend, Yorkshire Gold.
Now, as well as tasting it as part of a blend, you can also enjoy these qualities in splendid isolation. Our rotating Season’s Pick range is just switching over to Assam (until early next year) so look out for it appearing in shops near you any day now.
Our Season’s Pick range consists of three premium Rwandan, Kenyan and Assam teas – the key components of Yorkshire Gold. Through this range we offer a chance to sample each type of tea on its own, picked at the height of its growing season, when the flavour of the tea is at its very best.
You should be able to find it in most Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose stores. Let us know what you think of it!

I live in New Zealand … how do I get some ?????
Posted by Carole at 1:21 pmSorry Carole, we don’t have an official distributor in NZ at the moment. You might still find it of course, but there are no stockists we know of. Hopefully we’ll get that sorted soon!
Posted by Yorkshire Tea at 5:15 pmI live in Shanghai China, do you have an official distributor here yet??
Posted by George at 4:10 amI would LOVE to set up and run a Yorkshire tea shop here, and am very sure there is the business to boot!
There are lots of very wealthy Chinese who love anything British and who also love TEA!! – and there couldn’t be a better spokesman/salesman for Yorkshire than myself! I grew up in Whitby and used to visit Harrogate regularly. Of course there was nothing else in our tea cupboard my whole childhood!
bonjours je vous ecrit se courrier parce j’ai passer une commande mais je me suis trompĂ© sur le paye au lieu de mettre FRANCE j’ai mi United Kingdom
Posted by genevieve at 9:48 ammerci de bien me livre en France
Hi George, glad to know you love YT so much. Our official distributor in China is called the Italian Coffee Company (bizarre but true!) and their number is + 86 21 3222 1819 if you’d like advice on where to find our products!
Posted by Yorkshire Tea at 5:54 pmI switched to drinking fruit and speciality teas several years ago after being continuously disappointed with the tea on offer in the supermarkets. When you recently sent me a sample of Yorkshire Gold,I was delighted to find a tea you can actually taste. In my opinion, breakfast tea should be strong enough to stand your spoon up in and Yorkshire Gold fits the bill. I know what I’ll be drinking in future. Well done.
Posted by Paula Elliott at 5:07 pmMy husband won’t have any other tea except Yorkshire. We always take Yorkshire tea bags on holiday with us and they have travelled many miles, Cuba, Dubai, South Africa, Barbados to name a few places. They travelled with us to Canada (all 500 of them) and we regularly send over to relatives in Toronto. Best cup of tea you can get. My husband is a builder and he enjoys a strong cup of tea. In 2012 we will be taking Yorkshire Tea to Mexico for a holiday!
Posted by Lynda at 12:05 amMy husband hails from Middlesbrough, and he loves your Yorkshire tea – so do I! We had some when on holiday in the UK last Autumn, and would like to buy some more; but we live in South Africa and there do not appear to be wny distributors of Yorkshire tea here.
Posted by Anne Rodwell at 1:56 pmHi Anne, we’ll investigate and be in touch again soon!
Posted by Yorkshire Tea at 2:47 pmHi Anne, we’ve tried your email address but it doesn’t work – please could you email us at customer.services@bettysandtaylors.co.uk ?
Posted by Yorkshire Tea at 6:22 pmI’m in the United States. I love your tea and am able to buy it here. But what if I wanted to buy something online from you? Like the mug or teapot? Would you guys ship it here?
Thank you,

Finally, after 40 years of Canadian tea, which is not really tea, I have found Yorkshire tea in a local shop!! Love it to bits, as does my Canadian husband.
Posted by Jean Morgan at 9:26 pmPlease keep up the great work, and I will keep on buying Yorkshire tea!
